Our Kyrgyz artisans source wool from small farmers and hand-dye their felt with AZO-free dyes.

Our relationships with our artisans are based on joy and respect. We give our artisans year-round orders, and advance a minimum of 30% of each order, ensuring artisans can purchase materials, and have a steady and reliable cash flow.

By making everything by hand, our artisan’s processes don’t use heavy machinery and have very low input of fossil fuels. Even the felt balls and cones used in the construction of our ornaments and toppers are made by hand.
