A Shared Love for Design and New York City
When the MoMA Product team reached out to dream up something together, we knew it was going to be a perfect fit. Our shared values — creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep love for New York City — guided every step of this collaboration. The conversation blossomed into a collection that celebrates the museum’s spirit and the city’s vibrant energy.
We’ve had the joy of working with MoMA through our wholesale collections for many years and this new design partnership feels like a natural (and magical!) next chapter.
Designing a Collection That Brings Art Home
The process began with a series of ideas and sketches — a mix of new concepts and reimagined favorites from our bestselling collections. Together with the MoMA Product team, we refined and iterated until we landed on something that felt just right: a collection that lets people bring a little piece of MoMA’s artistry home.
The designs draw inspiration from the museum itself, from the bold colors and geometric forms of modern art to the city that surrounds it. Think: timeless New York icons meeting the clean lines and spirited imagination that MoMA is known for.
From Paint to Felt: Art You Can Hold![]()
One of our favorite pieces from the collaboration is the MoMA Highlights Book Ornament — a tiny felt tribute to two of the museum’s most beloved works: Oskar Schlemmer’s Bauhaus Stairway and Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night.
To create it, our design team studied these masterpieces — deconstructing and reinterpreting them in hand-stitched felt and embroidery. Every tiny swirl and brushstroke was translated into texture and thread, giving life to an ornament that’s as rich in detail as it is in story.
A Celebration of Art, Craft, and Collaboration
This partnership has been a reminder of what makes our work so meaningful: collaboration. From the MoMA Product team’s creative input to our artisans’ incredible skill, every hand and heart involved helped turn a shared vision into something tangible and timeless.
