Did you know: Mexican Gray Wolves are one of the most endangered mammals in North America. By the mid-1980s, hunting, trapping, and poisoning caused the extinction of lobos in the wild, with only a handful remaining in captivity. In 1998, the wolves were reintroduced into the wild, and there are 257 individuals today.

15% of the sales of this ornament go to the Wolf Conservation Center to support their efforts to save these wolves. The WCC champions wolf recovery through education, advocacy, and participation in vital species survival programs in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
