Full of simple joy, our hand woven raffia baskets are soft, lightweight and ethically made. They are also perfectly sized for little hands. Kids will be thrilled to fill them with flowers, garden treats and candy of course. This basket will also look lovely styled on your easter or spring table, or used for a stroll to the farmers market.

Craftspring designed and produced these beautifully hand-crocheted baskets with an NGO in Madagascar. Their main mission is to reduce poverty and protect the environment. They work with farmers to restore land that has been deforested, and plant native grass and trees that not only support local wildlife but can also be harvested and turned into income generating products, such as our baskets.

We are Fair-Trade Certified and have partnered with most of our artisans for over a decade. 

We work with amazing women artisans in Kyrgyzstan, and are expanding our collaborations to artisans in Palestine, Morocco, Afghanistan, Madagascar as well as communities of adults with disabilities in the United States.
